So then the annoying part is that they won't just admit their deadline was wrong and give a brief progress update. The code for HiFi is already hidden deep in the web and desktop client, it's just a matter of time now. If that's the only thing Golem got in the statement, I don't think that exactly means it's "postponed indefinitely" but just delayed and they won't say shit because they know it looks really bad - especially when Apple, Tidal, Amazon have long since released the same feature, and for no additional cost.

    That's pretty much what they sent back to me when I sent a feedback email about this. "We cannot give any further details at the moment" is just the default response the PR minions at Spotify copy and paste to anyone who presses them on why they aren't giving updates.
